Patricia Jean Stewart

July 2, 1956 — September 29, 2024

Patricia Jean Stewart, of Two Dot MT, was called home to her reward on September 29, 2024 at the age of 68.

Patty and her lifelong teammate, twin sister Penny, were born on July 2, 1956, in Seattle WA to Harry Day Pittis and Shirley Joan (Spencer) Pittis. The two grew up in a large family, which might explain why Patty had such a big and competitive personality, she had to make a mark for herself in the crowd. She played every sport in school that girls were allowed to play and excelled at many. Her high school shot put record stood unbroken for many many years and, if not for shoulder surgery, she had the potential to go to the Olympics for volleyball. During her junior year of high school, she captured the heart of Fire Control Technician 3rd Class Raymond Dee Stewart of Two Dot, MT with her gorgeous singing voice and beautiful red hair. They married on March 16, 1975 and remained by each other’s sides for nearly 50 years. Since her faith in God was reawakened at Loomis First Assembly of God, with the help of best friends Pastor Terry Lema and Vaunda Gardiner, it became the most important thing in her life.

Patty lived big and loved much! She collected people into her “adopted family” her whole life, right up to the end, and she touched many hearts and lives that will always be richer for her influence on them. Her philosophy was God first, Family second, Football third! (Go Seahawks!) When anyone came to the house to visit, they would likely find some kind of sport on her T.V. She followed every sport and enjoyed playing as many as she could her whole life, especially golf (where she could often outdrive the men). Her laugh could fill a room and brought a smile to many faces. We can’t help but feel she is gone far too soon, but Patty would be the first to say that God’s plans are perfect, even when we don’t understand.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents Harry Pittis and Shirley (Spencer) (Pittis) Williams, her brothers Stephen Pittis and Daniel Pittis, her twin siblings John and Mary Pittis, Her sons-in-law Wyatt McNulty and Jason Thomas, her grandson Dante Thomas and her nephew Kristopher Haugen. She is survived by her husband Raymond Stewart, her children Jennifer (Rick Beebe) McNulty, Rebecca Thomas, Thomas (Angie) Stewart, her grandchildren Nick Beebe, Cameron McNulty, Chyanne (Carsten Schlangen) McNulty, Brandon Beebe, Cedric Thomas, Katarina Thomas, Aliyah Stewart, Xander Thomas, Makayla Stewart, Isaac Stewart, Cohen Stewart and Samuel Stewart, her siblings Michael Pittis, Robin Sage, Harry (Mary) Pittis, Charles (Jenny) Pittis, Penelope Pittis, Edward (Lolin) Pittis, Richard (Donita) Pittis, Barbara (Duane) Jeffries and Deborah Pittis, numerous nieces and nephews and even more that she considered family, even when they were not related by blood or marriage.

Memorial services will be Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 4:00 pm at the Harlowton Faith Chapel 601 Pritchard St. NW Harlowton. As Patty was never one for flowers the family would like to suggest you consider donating to a veteran’s charity or LGL leukemia charity instead.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Perkins Funeral Home. Condolences for the family may be posted online at https://www.perkinsfuneralandcremation.com
