Loriene T. Dunbar went to be with the Lord Oct 24.2021. She had been battling Pancreatic Cancer for several Months.
She was preceded in death by her father David Thomas Cook and her mother Jewel Carter Cook. Her sisters Helen Martin, Beaula Martin, Dorthy Syme, and her Brother Cy Cook. Five days after Loriene passed, her brother Pete Cook went to be with the Lord. Also Her Granddaughter Samantha Dunbar.
Loriene was survived by her Husband RoyI Dunbar, Sister Rosalie Goff from Newton KS, her three sons Tom,Lee, and Mike (wife Robin), Two Grandsons Chris and Jake Dunbar Two Granddaughters Brittney Caufield and Allison Dunbar 5 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter.
Loriene Was born in Utteyville CO.She went to school in several towns in CO. Loriene Cook and Roy I Dunbar went with Cy Cook and Caroline Jessorto to NM, They went to New Mexico and got married on February 17,1948 .
Loriene and Roy lived on the family farm west of Pritchett Co.until April 1959. They moved to Harden MT to buy a farm from Loriene's Uncle. Buying the farm didn't work out,Roy went to work for Miles and Ulmer John Deere dealership in Hardin. While there he applied with the Soil Conservation Service.
Moved to Scobey Feb of 1961. Loriene got a job with the County Extension Office.Then moved to Culbertson MTWhere Loriene worked for the Safflower Plant, then the County Extension Office. Mike was born May 28,1966.
Moved to Glasgow MT june of 1969 and was there for almost 30 years. Loriene worked for Security Bank and was bought by Wells Fargo. She was the secretary for the President . When he retired Loriene became a loan Officer for the local Farmers and Ranchers. Loriene retired in 1996 and enjoyed the summers golfing and going to the lake. They didn't enjoy the winters so they moved south to Fowler Co. Loriene had a sister that lived in Pueblo CO. two brothers that lived there, a sister that lived in Denver, A Sister that lived in Canyon City Co.and a sister that lived in Albuquerque NM. Roy had a sister that lived in Fowler and a sister that lived in Canyon City. Loreine and Roy were busy in Fowler with the Senior Citizen Center. .Loriene was the bookkeeper and Roy was a trustee, while there they helped rebuild the center. .Loriene got a hole in at the Golf course in Fowler.
September of 2014 Lorine and Roy moved to the Regency in Pueblo. They helped decorate the Dining Room for all the changes in the seasons. They enjoyed the Bible Classes they were part of and. Hosting for a couple of years.
In July of 2021 they moved to Boise ID to be closer to family. Loriene became ill and went to be with the Lord on OCT 24, 2021.
