Clarence (Bud) Alvin Widdicombe, a devoted father, grandfather, husband, and friend, passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 83. Bud was born on September 15, 1940, the youngest of 11 children, 6 sisters and 5 brothers.
Clarence was a hardworking railroader, known for his work with the Milwaukee and Montana Rail Link. His colleagues remember him as a reliable and knowledgeable professional who was always ready to lend a helping hand.
Beyond his career, Clarence was an avid outdoorsman. He found great joy in hunting and fishing, which allowed him to connect deeply with nature. These activities were more than hobbies; they were a way of life he cherished.
Clarence is survived by his son, Lon Widdicombe, 56, 2 grandchildren Jennifer and Tristen, and his brother Jack. Clarence and Lon's strong bond was characterized by love, mutual respect, and shared values. Clarence was a guiding light in Lon's life, teaching him the importance of hard work, integrity, and a love for the outdoors.
Clarence will be interred with his beloved wife, Karen, at the Harlowton Cemetery on July 27th at 1 PM. Their enduring love story is a testament to the power of love and companionship.
Clarence Alvin Widdicombe's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
