Nancy M. Gollehon 58 of Ryegate passed away at her home on Tuesday afternoon, January 16th, 2018 with family and friends at her side. She was born February 1, 1959 the daughter of Albert and Bernice (VanDepopelier) Blockeel in Conrad, Montana. She received her schooling in Conrad graduating from Conrad High School in 1977. In 1978 she was united in marriage to Tim Rambo in Shelby and they made their home in the Valier area where they ranched. They later divorced and she moved to Choteau. She worked in the Trading Post, Rex’s Market, and operated her own ceramic shop. On July 31, 1999 she was united in marriage to Michael “Chip” Gollehon in Choteau. They were property managers living near Florence, Montana and she continued her crafts. In 2012 they moved to Ryegate where they made their home and worked on the Horpestad Ranch until the time of her death.

Nancy was an extremely talented artist who shared her gift with many around her in the form of her crafts and heart felt one of a kind gifts she made. She was an avid hunter who could spend hours just looking at country through her binoculars at all of God’s beautiful wonder. Her family meant everything to her. Nancy’s faith and love for the Lord was ever evident through her courageous battle where she never lost hope and was an inspiration for so many.

She was a member of the Golden Valley Baptist Church in Ryegate and the Women’s Bible Study.

She is survived by her husband Chip and son Colter of the family home in Ryegate; sons Chad (Tara) Rambo and Tyson Rambo all of Valier, MT; daughter Brandy (Will) Rambo/Niemeyer of Olds, Alberta, Canada’ step-daughters Kris (Clay) Lancaster of British Columbia, Canada, Jessa (Nathan) Shepard of Krum, TX and Heidi (Courtney) Virden of Glen Elder, KS; one brother Albert Blockeel of Conrad, MT; four sisters Charlene Henke and Patricia Peterson both of Valier, MT, Annette Gollehon of Bonner, MT and Linda Blockeel of Fairfield, MT; 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services for Nancy M. Gollehon will be Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. in the Perkins Funeral Home Chapel in Harlowton. Private committal will be on Wednesday, January 24th, 2018 in the Cemetery of the Sacred Heart near Valier.
