Vickie Ann Cameron went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 23, 2017. Vickie was born April 2, 1948 to Warren & Irma (Platter) Horne. She attended schools in Townsend and White Sulphur Springs graduating in 1966 from White Sulphur Springs High School. She then attended and graduated from the Helena Business School in 1968. She was united in marriage to Ronald Emmet Teig, Sr. in 1968 and they had two children Ron Emmet Teig, Jr. and Sandra Lynn Teig Holman, they later divorced. She moved to Martinsdale in 1988 and was united in marriage to George Cameron. They lived and ranched in the Martinsdale area until his death. Vickie held various jobs in her lifetime including owning the Martinsdale Mercantile, working at White Sulphur Springs Hospital, Harlowton Veterinarian Clinic and at the Wheatland Memorial Healthcare until her retirement in 2016 as an Administrative Assistant.

Vickie’s greatest joy in life was her children and grandchildren closely followed by living in the country, riding horses, raising cattle and all aspects of the ranch life.

She is survived by her children, Ronnie (Lauri) Teig Jr of Harlowton and Sandy (David) Holman of Meville; sisters Billie Thornes, Cora Lee Horne, Gerry Wight and Sherry Gray; brothers Jay Horne and Paddy Horne; grandchildren, Quentin (Cheyanna Sitek) Teig, Bailey Rose Teig, Leif Holman, and Libby Rose Holman, great granddaughter Sophie Ann and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents Warren and Irma Horne, her husband George Cameron, sisters Bonnie Burrows, Dorothy Nelson, Lorna Flynn and brother Ray Horne.

All those whose lives were touched by Vickie Ann Cameron are invited to celebrate her life at the Evangelical Church in Big Timber on December 30th, at 11:00 a.m. The Perkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
