Thomas Vincent, Jr. 81 of Martinsdale died Saturday afternoon, March 9th, 2013 at his home of natural causes.
He was born May 12, 1931 in Syracuse, NY the son of Thomas and Margaret Vincent, Sr. He received his schooling in Marcellus, NY and then worked with his father on their dairy farm.
He purchased his own dairy farm near Auburn, NY where he lived and farmed until his retirement in 1981. On May 5, 1975 he was united in marriage to Nora Saya in Sennett, NY. They built a log cabin near Sennett, NY where they lived until 1996 when they moved to Martinsdale, MT. He worked on the Voldseth farm near Martinsdale for several years.
Tom loved to hunt and that is what brought them to Martinsdale, he also enjoyed woodworking and farming.
He is survived by his wife Nora of Martinsdale, MT; daughters Elaine Noren of Jordan, NY and Cheryl Hollis of Camillus, NY; step-sons Jeffrey Holdridge of Cato, NY and Brian Holdridge of Montezuma, NY; step-daughter Roxanne Holdridge of Hannibal, NY; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and one brother.
No Services will be held for Thomas Vincent; at his request cremation has taken place. The Perkins Funeral Home & Cremation Service is assisting the family.
