Julia Jeanette DeBuff 92 went to be with The Lord on Sunday May 26, 2013. She passed of natural causes at the Laurel Care Center in Laurel, Montana.
Julia was born July 11, 1920 to Carl and Rena (Stigen) Kosbob in Billings, MT. She attended school in Hedgesville. On October 22, 1940 she married Cyril DeBuff in White Sulpher Springs. Together they had two children, LaDonna and Charles. They raised their family in Shawmut where Julia was the postmaster for many years. Julia was active in many aspects of her community.
She belonged to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, the Women of the Moose, Red Hat Society and Windy Widows to name a few. She loved her flowers and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Cyril, son Charles and sister Carlene.
Julia is survived by her daughter LaDonna Jamison of Billings; brother Donald (Fern) Kosbob of Ryegate; seven grandchildren: Don Jamison, Beverly Fortney, Marcia Jamison, Bryan Jamison, Mike DeBuff, Roberta DeBuff and
Josh DeBuff. Ten great grandchildren two great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Liturgy for Julia J. DeBuff will held Tuesday May 28, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Harlowton with interment for follow in the Harlowton Catholic Cemetery. The Perkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
